VIRTUAL SUMMER CAMP

Each project will have a recorded lesson for you to create at home!

We will provide a link to the video's on how we created each project!
In the jungle, the mighty jungle, a lion sleeps tonight!  Come and join us as we make a flat lion head with a fabulous hairy mane. Campers will get the chance to use different clay tools and techniques when creating their lion.  Each camper will be able to research and create their favorite jungle animal on a 16x18 canvas in acrylic paint that you can proudly display! We have an amazing tribal mask that campers can paint with our underglaze paints.  We will look up different masks so they can make a plan of how they want the design of theirs to look. Love different looking planters? Then campers will love creating this zebra planter with acrylic paint! More playing with clay as we have campers create a clay elephant using the pinch pot hand building method and scoring and slipping.  A ceramic giraffe with his cute bit of tongue sticking out will be fun for camps to paint. This giraffe is a bank that will be perfect for campers to save their spare change! We will have one final round of playing with clay as campers learn to create a coil turtle. We will demonstrate the coil hand building method and how to properly attach all the pieces of the turtle body together.
